Staff Picks 10/11/17

All New Wolverine #25: If you haven't been up with one of the best books coming out of Marvel, here is where you can jump on! Daken vanishes and it's up to Laura to rescue him from the mysterious Orphans of X. What do they want with the duo and will Laura and Daken have some sibling-tinted moment? I don't know but Tom Taylor has been doing fantastic stuff with this book and it's a must-read.

Ladycastle TP: The men of the castle have all been eaten by a dragon, leaving the women in charge. The blacksmith's wife is now King, the Princess their knight, and the sole page is deciding what he wants to do. This fantastic all ages comic was a staff favorite in singles, and hopefully soon to be a new Ladies' Night favorite!

Falcon #1: Sam Wilson takes on arbitrating peace talks between two rival gangs as he fits back in to his old Mantle of the Falcon! I loved this first issue, and hope it gets back in love with Sam's story the way early volumes of SamCap did.

All New Wolverine #25: DAKEN, the enigmatic son of Logan, has been kidnapped and it's up to the ALL-NEW WOLVERINE to find him. But when the trail leads Laura, a genetic clone of the original Wolverine, back to the FACILITY where she was created and tortured, she will find new horrors waiting for her.  Who are the ORPHANS OF X and what do they have in store for the children of Logan?

Flash #32: "BLACK HOLE RISING"! While the Flash's negative Speed Force powers begin to take their deadly toll on Barry Allen's life, Black Hole begins its most audacious assault yet when the criminal outfit finally assumes control of S.T.A.R. Labs!

Grass Kings #8: Bruce thinks back to the town he used to be sheriff of, and how his frustration drove him to follow Robert into the Grass Kingdom

Mech Cadet Yu #3: Training gets more intense while while problems arise in Parks.

Runaways #2: Is the band getting back together? God, I hope so!

Rat Queens tp 4: The first trade after the reboot. With the new queen Braga on their side saving Pallaside has become easier than ever
