Midnighter and Apollo #2: Midnighter's got Henry Bendix in his hands at last-but will he have to let him go in order to join Apollo's battle against the deadly Mawzir?

Red Thorn #12: Thorn travels to the Otherworld and does not like what he finds there. Tarek takes on a villain, but not the one you're expecting. The twelfth chapter of Red Thorn answers almost all the questions you've been asking all year. Almost.

The Unworthy Thor #1: Odinson's desperate search to regain his worthiness has taken him out into the cosmos, where he's learned of the existence of a mysterious other Mjolnir. This weapon of unimaginable power, a relic from a dead universe, is the key to Odinson's redemption - but some of the greatest villains of the Marvel Universe are now anxious to get their hands on it as well. Can The Odinson reclaim his honor, or will the power of thunder be wielded for evil? The quest for the hammer begins here.

Midnighter and Apollo #2: My heart. I literally had to walk away from this book because it was too much. I am loving this series and it is the best book this week!

The Wicked + The Divine#23: WicDiv is back! With Kevin Wada interiors as well!

Red Thorn #12: Thorn enters the Otherworld and doesn't like what he sees. Nearly all your questions from the last year will be answered. Nearly! I just don't want the series to be over dammit.

Jade Street Protection Services #2: It's finally back! What is the Headmaster up to? And what will these wonderful girls do next?

Ms. Marvel Omnibus vol 1: Giant. Hardcover. Kamala. Kahn! I'm so happy to have this collected edition. It's going to be so pretty! Collects the entirety of the first Ms. Marvel run. Plus her appearance in Amazing Spider-Man. Plus her appearance in the Shield comic! So much Kamala to love! This is a perfect gift for someone who's been waiting to catch up on this wonderful, wonderful series.

Leftovers: Bitch Planet #9, Faith #5, Green Lanterns #10, Occupy Avengers #1, and Unworthy Thor #1.

Aquaman #10: I say it every couple of weeks and I'll say it again, this title couldn't be any more perfect! Abnett makes Aquaman shine like the king he is!

Bitch Planet #9: It has been a little bit of a wait, but we finally have another issue to devour! Kelly Sue Deconnick has created an interesting world that is only half a twitch away from our own. The art is beautiful and the story is as instructive as it is entertaining.

Faith #5: This is an over sized Election issue, featuring a main story by new series writer Jody Houser and new series artist Meghan Hetrick! I am super pumped for this one folks! If you are sad that Red Thorn ends this week, then pick this one up to ease the sting a bit.

Josie and the Pussycats #2: Archie comics is really killing these days. This comic hits all the right notes for me. It is sweet, funny, gorgeous and fun to read!

Southern Bastards #15: Part one of a new arc called Gut Check. Coach Boss is losind his grip on Craw County after the worst loss of his football career. Roberta Tubbs is also closing in on Boss, with some hard questions about the death of her father.

Dave McKean Cages TP: McKean's work is absolutely gorgeous, and I'll pick up just about anything he works on.

Moon Knight #8: Moon Knight is like Batman's grumpier, more violent, magically-protected big brother, but the real treasure is in the use of visuals and art. The art is stark, making fantastic use of white space and emptiness to tell the story. It's a nice, graphic departure from the busy spaces of a lot of cape comics.

Ms. Marvel Omnibus vol. 1: It's Ms. Marvel. If you aren't reading Ms. Marvel yet, consider this a good time to start! Teenage Pakistani girl who has to deal with being a teenager and being a superhero? Definitely a challenge, but she's written with wit and warmth.

Unworthy Thor #1: I have no idea if I'll like this one or not, but I'm loving the current Thor run, and I'm very excited to see if this is half as good.
